Best Resort in Khandala-Zara’s Resort

Best place for weekend getaway.

This is indeed the best resort in Khandala & a Nature’s paradise. Just as u enter you spot the greenery with a bunch of colourful flowers. The charismatic beauty lies everywhere around the resort. No matter which area you are in, its green everywhere.

Rooms-The reception area is huge and there are various rooms like Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Vintage rooms and Mogul Rooms. My personal favourite was the Mogul Room as the colour combination and the interiors were fantastic with glossy yellow lamps.

The bathrooms were clean and upto the mark. Coffee, tea and jars with sugar were placed properly on the dining table. The room has a splendid view as you can see the lavish entrance.The pool and vintage villas, all the 3 simultaneously as you enter your Balcony.

Food– Coming to the food, its OMG, I mean I had ordered Kepsa Biryani which was huge in quantity. Almost 8 people can finish it off, it had hummus, inhouse tomato chutney with chunks of mutton & chicken with eggs loaded. The Kepsa Rice was one of a kind and you may hardly find better than this in Mumbai. The Inhouse Restaurant Rani Rasoi I can say is a foodies dream place. The experience here was just out of the world and would admit that this is the best resort in Khandala.

Non veg- murgh noorjahani, murgh reshmi kebab, chicken patiala are must try.

Veg-you can go for Tom kha soup, Spring rolls, Veg Hakka noodles Or Schezwan rice, Veg kolhapuri, Honey chilli potato. Mix veg subzi was at its best.

Amenities– They have two Swimming Pools,One for kids and other for adults. Plus 3 huge sections Conference Hall-For corporate events. Vintage Hall-For Marriages and Engagements. Party hall-For small Birthday bashes, private parties or any launch scenes. This is an advantage for you if you need to plan any event out here.

Extra activities includes-Pool, Carrom, Chess and Table-tennis. Plus they have few Horses, Ducks and Tukeys behind the property. You can just roam around in the morning to witness them.

Overall I loved this property and the hospitality. Special thanks to Motiful Khan, Swapnil Sir, Chef Umed and Chef Ramesh Singh for making this stay a much more pleasant one. If you are hunting for a weekend getaway, than this is the best resort in Khandala.
