The Importance of Palm oil and the most unknown great facts about it is what we discussed. Held on 31st July at Taj Land Ends, Bandra.

Palm Oil in India Market- After a lot of struggling involved in bringing Palm oil in the Indian market, finally the Government slashed a huge amount of import duty tax. So that a common man in India could easily buy Palm oil at normal rates. India has been a largest importer for Oils, but still we were unaware of Palm oil and its benefits.

About Palm oil- Palm oil is one of the most popular oils in the world and least expensive. One table spoon of Palm oil is equivalent to eating 15 pieces of Carrrot or Pumpkin. Red palm oil contains antioxidants called Carotenoids which our body can convert into Vitamin A. A recent study declared that children who had one table spoon of Palm oil had experienced 40% of improved vision  with much better Retina. Palm oil protects Brain functioning, reduces risk of stroke and heart diseases. Palm oil also improves skin and hair growth. Also reduces Cholestrol levels, oxidative stress  and boosts brain health. Though there are much more advantages of using Palm oil in your daily life.
 
Consultation of Palm Oil- Though it has a lot of added advantages and plus points, people having certain diseases or ageing problems should consult their physician/doctor once before intaking it. 
 
Palm oil use- Its used in cookies, instant noodles, breads, cakes, chocolates and even other non-food items like lipstick, shampoos,soaps and many more. Malaysia being the second-largest palm-oil producer in the world, they have done a lot of R&D on various subjects of planting and processing palm oil.
